Open Kitchen is a Greater Manchester-based social enterprise specialising in sustainable and ethical catering, workshops and community food education. They use local, independent, low-waste food sourcing, reinvest all profits into ensuring access to healthier, more sustainable meals for local communities, and deliver workshops on food waste, fermenting and team-building cooking experiences.

What we offer

Sustainable Event Catering

Bespoke catering for meetings, celebrations and corporate events using local, ethical ingredients and rescued food to deliver a low-waste, high-impact menu. Pricing available upon request via quote

Workshops & Learning Sessions

Interactive sessions including “Lunch & Learn”, cooking demos, fermenting or food-waste reduction workshops, and sustainable wine tastings for teams or community groups. Pricing also available via enquiry

Community Meals & Grocery Support

Meals, grocery parcels and support delivered to individuals and families facing food insecurity; funded through Open Kitchen’s profits and partnerships, offered on subsidised or free basis for eligible groups.
