Ekhaya Empowerment

A community organisation supporting people from underserved communities in Greater Manchester. Our aim is to alleviate the impacts of poverty amongst women and children from underserved communities through Education, Empowerment and Integration.

What we offer

Community Integration & Wellbeing Support

Peer support, signposting and community activities for women from underserved and diverse communities in Wigan, helping members build friendships, access services and reduce isolation.

Children's Book Club

A reading group for children supporting English language development while also celebrating cultural heritage and building pride in identity.

Employment & Education Signposting

Advice and signposting to local education institutions, employment training programmes and community resources to support financial independence and skills development.
